RCW “Rampage” In Otway, Ohio Tonight

Posted by Ohio Pro Wrestling News on April 5, 2008

From RCWOnline.com:

RCW returns to Otway, OH at the Old Otway School on Main Street on Saturday April 5th for “RAMPAGE IN OTWAY”. Tickets will be available (Beginning this Wednesday 3/26)at Crabtree’s Market in Lucasville on St. Route 348 and at our regular Portsmouth locations: Domino’s Pizza, Front Row Video, and Castle Comics. Tickets also available on our website. Revolutionary Championship Wrestling has never been hotter and what a way to bring in the Spring than to watch RCW tear it up in Otway. Bell Time is 7:30pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Presale tickets are only $8.00 (door tickets $10), kids 4 and under get in FREE!

ALL SHOOK UP left a lot of questions, one of them being the status of former RCW Tagteam Champions Flash Fury and Nikki Tyler. Did Tyler walk out on Fury and leave him to the wolves (GODS) OR did Tyler simply not see what was going down. The two have accepted another tagteam match. Against who is the question. We hope to have this answered in the coming days.

Speaking of the RCW WORLD TAGTEAM CHAMPIONS….The GODS (Juggulator & Judas Thorn) may have thought that they ridded themselves of Randy Allen & Chris Smith but “The King” & “The Livewire” took their case straight to the Board of Directors. Thankfully Dude Rock slept in that day and the team was able to garner one more chance at the RCW Tagteam Titles. The Old Otway School holds a special place for Smith and Allen as it was the place where they had a lot of success while wrestling for the now defunct SWF. Will the past be relived with these two capturing glory (and gold) in Otway? A better question may be can the two get along. Smith beat Allen by questionable means at ASU and Allen “accidently” clobbered Smith with a tagteam title belt in their last tagteam match against The GODS. Thorn and Juggulator have been absolutely dominate since winning the Titles. This match will be interesting indeed.

The RCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, Tank Runyon has never been in such jeopardy of losing his title. Runyon will once again meet Tyson Rogers in the squared circle, BUT this time Rogers won’t be the only one on the other side of the ring. The Title will be up for grabs in a 4-WAY HARDCORE RULES MATCH! “American Idol” Dirk Extreme and Ace Gigolo have been added to the mix. Gigolo is the automatic #1 Contender by being the RCW TV Champion. His TV Title will not be on the line. Gigolo could walk out the first ever Triple Championship holder in RCW History! Falls Will Count Anywhere! No DQ! Elimination Rules! This should prove to be a challenge for not only the champion but the challengers as well.

JD Santos will once again put his Lottery Ticket on the line against the man he was suppose to face at ASU. Vance Desmond says that he is now 100% and ready to take the Ticket from Santos. A lot of fans and members of the RCW Locker room are looking forward to this bout.

Matt Taylor won the fans over in Jackson at PD08. This time around he will once again have the fans on his side as his opponent is the flamboyant Corey Mason. Mason blames Taylor for their loss in the Lethal Lottery tagteam tournament. Taylor says he will prove himself to not only Mason but the fans of RCW. We’ll see what happens when these two meet for the first time at RAMPAGE IN OTWAY.

Ricochet comes back after his injury that he suffered in Jackson against Onyx courtesy of IOU’s Ace Gigolo. Ricochet will be facing the Big Man Wes Cannon. Cannon turned a lot of heads at ASU. He had an impressive outing against JD Santos that showed the WOMD member fall short but look impressive none the less. Ricochet’s ribs were injured in that match with Onyx. You better believe that Wes Cannon knows that and will be ready for Ricochet.

Don’t miss RAMPAGE IN OTWAY on Saturday April 5th at the Old Otway School!

CWE Returns to Austintown, Ohio this Friday

Posted by Ohio Pro Wrestling News on April 1, 2008

Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present “Path of Destruction” live Friday night, April 4th, 2008 at The Wedge in Austintown, Ohio. Doors open at 6:00PM and the event begins at 6:30. Tickets are $12 in advance at Havana House in Niles, and $15 at the door.
Already scheduled to compete:

JOHNNY GARGANO MAKES HIS FIRST DEFENSE OF THE CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE!
After going through 24 other men at “A Year Later”, Johnny Gargano will defend his newly one prize. But against who? CWE officials looked long and hard, and found who they believe the best man to be. After his show of dominance in the early stages of the battle royal, CWE officials have decided that Gargano will defend his prize against none other than “The Deviant” Michael Hutter. Hutter is without a doubt the best physical specimen in the CWE, and has the definite strength and intimidation advantage of Gargano.
Will Gargano survive what The Deviant has in store?

MATT CROSS MAKES HIS RETURN TO SINGLES COMPETITION AGAINST SHIIMA XION!
Matt Cross has not wrestled a singles match in CWE since defeating Chris Sabin at Culmination in July. Shiima Xion, who is fresh off a victory of Johnny Gargano, who later in the night won the CWE Undisputed Title, wants to prove that he should be the next man to get into the ring with Gargano.
Will Cross’ aerial skills be enough to get past the crafty Xion?

PATRICK HAYES SEEKS REVENGE ON VINCENT NOTHING!
After entering the battle royal in position number one, Patrick Hayes fought to the end, with the assistance of his partner, The Deviant, and was poised to win the rumble, until Vincent Nothing evened the sides, and pulled the top rope down, giving Hayes a taste of his own medicine. Now Hayes has his sights set on getting revenge on Vincent Nothing.
Where does Hayes’ unsettled rivalry with Matt Cross fit in to all of this?

IRON JUSTICE FACES OFF WITH THE STRAIGHT JACKET MAFIA!
Iron Justice has turned their one loss to Faith in Nothing in May into a winning streak in CWE. Now they face off with a team that may be as dangerous as any other team in the area, “Syko” Sean Dahmer and Apollyon, being managed by the ultra devious Benjamin C Steele. With Steele at ringside, one must wonder what tricks will be up his sleeve.

FACADE TAKES ON MORTY RACKEM!
Both of these young guns in the company are looking to make their mark, and a mark in the win column in this match will most definitely draw some attention to their quest for greatness in the CWE.

ALSO APPEARING: THE FRANCHISE PLAYERS, SAMI CALLIHAN, JAKE CRIST, THE BOUNCER, BILL HYATT AND MORE!

ALSO WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY NEWLY SIGNED AFFLUENT RECORDS RECORDING ARTIST THROWBACK! THIS IS TRULY AN EVENT TO BE SEEN!

Remember, this event is Friday, April 4th, 2008 at The Wedge in Austintown, Ohio located at 1743 S Raccoon Road, Austintown, Ohio 44515. The doors will open at 6PM with a belltime of 630PM. Tickets are $12 in advance at Havana House in Niles and will also be available the day of the show for $15.
Make sure to attend this show as there are some big announcments waiting to be made on Friday April 4th at The Wedge!

Also be sure to check out the return [finally] of www.championshipwrestlingonline.com by the end of the week. Until then, be sure to check us out on MySpace at www.myspace.com/cweonline.
